Book launch

Frday's book launch was successful - we all went back to Bardwell Road afterwards for supper and your parents were there Emily. Lilly, do you want to go to see Serenity at some point? Cheapo supper at Fishers and then a film? Let me know - I know you're busy most of this week but maybe after work one day next week?

Congratulations! I had a whirlwind weekend - saw Jess and Mel briefly on Friday night (was working), went to Ely Cathedral to sing evensong on Saturday, got back at 10pm and went straight to a party with Mel which was great if a bit weird. An ex of hers was there, in tails. And knickerbockers. He's a Freemason and had little knickerbockers on with a diamante buckle, and black opaque tights (M&S).

Sunday I went to church then spent the afternoon in the pub with people from the choir tour. feel very fuzzy today.

I have a very busy week - tomorrow going to Fishers then a recital with Mel, Wednesday singing evensong then another concert with my mum, Thursday singing at mass then the pub, Friday another concert (alone this time). Saturday singing at a wedding then evensong, Sunday singing mass and evensong then going to the Precentor's for dinner. What a giddy social whirl.

We could meet Saturday afternoon - between the wedding and evensong? Are you free then Becca? I've already seen Serenity but would like to see something else (if I ever get any spare time...)

Come to the dogs with me on Saturday night Lilly. I have tickets that entitle you to a pint of Carling and free entry. It would be fun!

Guillaume's website says he is into singe-monkeys which I imagined as him running around after monkeys with a lighter. Me so funny.

I'm so glad she liked it! We had fun getting it together. I was on sentry duty and greeted people at the door and offered glasses of wine etc.
